Yesterday, November 21st, at 6:00 PM, the Municipal Athletics Stadium of Elvas hosted the first-ever Goalkeeper Day in blue and gold. This landmark event brought together 30 goalkeepers from the club and marked the beginning of a promising initiative led by the José Ferreira Goalkeeper Academy, aimed at shaping the future of O Elvas’ goalkeeping.
Excellence in Training and Teamwork
Under the guidance of José Ferreira, the event featured participation from the senior team goalkeepers, goalkeeper coaches from the club and SAD, as well as key members of the first team’s technical staff, including Rogério Chinita and Tiago Silva. Together, they trained the 27 young blue-and-gold knights present, delivering high-quality technical and tactical sessions.
José Ferreira emphasized the importance of this initiative: “This is just the beginning of the future for O Elvas’ goalkeeping. We are building something solid and promising for our goalkeepers.”
